Remember, you are princess

Each of us is a princess, a daughter of the King, a bat melech. But we don’t always feel like one, and when we don’t feel like it, we behave like Cinderellas. And our behavior affects how we feel about ourselves, and so the cycle continues. How can we break this vicious circle?

Do something that lifts your spirits and helps you remember that you are a princess.

For example, apply lipstick and line your eyes.

Or wear some jewelry: a necklace, pendant, bracelet, ring, or even your wedding ring…

Or a beautiful head covering.

Or a new, cute apron, but only if it doesn’t turn you back into a Cinderella.

Now you can create a palace around yourself:

Play your favorite music or turn on an interesting class. And every 45 minutes, take a break to rest.

For example, sit down with your favorite book for 15 minutes (just make sure you don’t get stuck in the book). Or call a friend…

In short, combine two components: feel and behave like a princess. Respect and love yourself.
